Medical Catgut Surgical Nylon Suture With Needles

This product is the (non-absorbable nylon) suture with needle. The needle body is made of the basic material of stainless steel alloy while the sutures are made of the high polymer material (OC-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2-CH2-NH) n, with the surface specially treated. The colors of the sutures are various. The thread body is smooth and flexible and bears no negative effect to the human body.

The suture needle has good puncturing properties, high toughness and body smoothness. The suture thread is flexible ad smooth. It is of low dragging effect during suturing of the tissues, convenient and secure for knotting, and easy for operation.

The tensile strength: This suture thread has an original tensile strength higher than that specified in the USP standard. It enjoys long-lasting stretching force when implanted into tissues.

Absorbability: This suture thread cannot be absorbed by the human body. 

Biocompatibility: This suture thread, when implanted into tissues, causes very little tissue reaction and less growth of tissues connection. It is of no stimulation to the human body, no allergy, no cytotoxicity and no genetic toxicity.

It’s divided into sutures with needle and sutures without needles.

The suture needles:

The needle points are various, like round (pyramid), triangular, spade, and blunt (round) types, with a radian from 0 degree to 180 degrees. Needles of special needle points or special radians can be independently manufactured upon order.

Suture:

These sutures are dyed various colors. The suture diameter is USP11/0-7 and the basic suture length is 45cm-90cm. We can manufacture sutures of special lengths according to clinical demand.
